Biking update...

So I haven't actually been out on the road in awhile... but I broke out the trainer :(

I have been doing 45 minutes on the trainer Sun, Tues, Thurs evenings after work. Although the training isn't fun, I think I still get a descent workout. My goals are to keep it going every other day and up the time from 45 to 1:00 to ...

Swim practice 10-1-08

I got kicked out of my normal lane... guess the guys got tired of me!

Actually, I decided to lower my intervals... Here was our workout:

  1. 11x50 on 40s
  2. 3x3x100 on 1:20, 1:15, and 1:10
  3. 8x25 on 30s, IM order
  4. 5x50 on 1:00 kick
  5. 3x200 on 3:00, backstroke, descending
So the highlight of the night was almost catching the 3rd guy in my lane on the last 200 (I had to move over due to some non-masters swimmers wanting to swim). I ended up dropping 10 seconds each 200, going 2:35, 2:25, 2:15. I was kind of shocked at the 2:15.

Overall it was a good workout.
