Woke up this morning and decided to take a watch with me for the first time on a run... and I was pleasantly surprised.
My normal route is 3.5 miles. Did about 1.6 miles in 14 minutes which equates to under a 9min mile pace. It felt comfortable so I think my training is paying off a little. I'm definitely not going to break any land speed records, but there is definite improvement. So I took 20 minutes to run back...
This week is my last training week of the winter as next week will be short, quick tempo speed work as a mini taper for the race on Sunday
